When she isn’t watching cats that do not belong to her, she cohosts the podcasts “Epilogue” which talks about books and book news. Earl was born and raised in Queens, NYC and began studying classical violin at age four. In fifth grade, he was given a dubbed cassette tape of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” that altered his perspective irrevocably, and began incorporating his love of metal and hardcore into violin playing. He’s been featured in The Strad, Strings Magazine, Vice, and Guitar World. Earl is currently a member of the experimental grindcore/metal duo Black Heart Sutra and new music/hardcore crossover string quartet seven)suns. He lives in Brooklyn, New York with his partner Jennifer DeVore and kid, and teaches music privately. Here he is looking like a badass:
