In this Episode:

Jen and Alli spend a lot of time on the internet procuring content for their show, but what happens when they meet the face behind the avatar? They talk about lessons learned from strangers on Craigslist, explain what a “Splenda Daddy” is, and expound on Mpregs, Semenology, and women in comedy. You know, the usual.

About the Guests:

Allison Goldberg and Jen Jamula are artists and entrepreneurs fascinated by communication in the Digital Age. They co-create, produce, and perform in Blogologues, a sketch comedy show that takes verbatim text from the Internet and social media, and puts it live onstage. Jen and Alli have created 30+ versions of the show and were featured on the cover of Time Out New York, which ranked them among the “top ten funniest women in NYC”.

They also wrote and filmed the web series, 2 Girls 1 Show, which pairs scripted antics with IRL interviews of niche internet communities and is currently in post-production. They created No Text Weekend, a global movement to encourage people to talk instead of text, which received pledges from all over the world and was featured in outlets including Good Morning America and Real Simple, garnering over 25 million media impressions, in its inaugural year.

Here’s some awesome photos that capture their overall awesomeness:
